Baxendale's Vineyard. Ruth and Jim Baxendale’s vineyard is planted on the top of the hills, south of Whitfield, above the King River valley. In 2009 and 2010 the cabernet sauvignon and sauvignon blanc were grown entirely without irrigation, producing lower crops with increased intensity of flavour, which shows through in both the wines made from their fruit.
