Dead Man's Hill Vineyard. In February 2009, Ros Ritchie inherited the highly regarded Dead Man’s Hill vineyard, originally included in the vineyards providing Delatite Winery with gewürztraminer grapes. Planted wholly to gewürztraminer by Robert Ritchie (Ros’ father) in 1975, the vineyard has deep soils and the vines now grow without supplementary water, producing small canopies with small-berried, intensely aromatic fruit.
