The fruit was picked ripe to attain early colour; two-thirds was left on skins for 18hrs before pressing out, while the remainder was crushed and pressed off skins promptly.
With a delightful, very pale strawberry rose/onion skin colour, the nose shows an intriguing mix of sweet violets and characters of bay leaf, with a touch of spice. A delicious, dry wine with round and savoury fruit flavours, with good acidity and just enough fine phenolics to add texture and weight.
