2018 Riesling

Estate grown.Handpicked fruit in a warmer vintage from Barwite vineyard’s highest rows, rocky gravels well drained soils. Whole bunch pressed direct to tank, juice was racked off fine lees and cool fermented to dryness with selected yeasts for 28 days, after which it was matured on lees for 2 months before bottling.

Floral aromas, lime and ripe grapefruit with notes of minerality are prime; with its zingy acidity it’s delicious drinking now but will also reward cellaring.
