2022 Shiraz Rose

Estate Grown   -   picked in 1st week of April, crushed, pressed off skis and fermented over 4 weeks; a pretty rose pink, the wine has delicious depth of fruit flavour, spice and leafiness, and a fine acidity leaving it fine and dry.

The fruit was picked ripeto attain colour from the Timbertop vineyard in early April and was whole bunch pressed off skins to tank where it was cool fermented over 4 weeks.

With a delightful, very pale rose/onion skin colour, the nose shows an intriguing mix of sweet violets and characters of bay leaf, with a touch of spice. A delicious, dry wine with round and savoury fruit flavours, with good acidity and just enough fine phenolics to add texture and weight.
