2021 Sparkling Shiraz Tempranillo

Picked in March 2021 from the Barwite and Sandy Creek vineyards, the wine has a deep, garnet-purple colour with a fine persistent bead.

Expressive and generous aromas of ripe plum compote and cherry, dark chocolate, liquorice, and gentle baking-spice warmth, unfolding to subtle notes of cedar and pepper. Full-bodied yet surprisingly fresh, the mousse delivers a velvety, supple texture which carries the plush black-fruit flavours and the mid-palate richness is balanced with some savoury spice. Underlying faint earthy undertones give depth while fine dry tannins and the elegant bubbles keep the finish clean and vibrant.
