The fruit was picked early in April, whole bunch pressed and fermented in 1 year-old French oak puncheons, remaining there on lees for 12 weeks; the wine shows aromas of gooseberry with bramble and herbal notes. The flavour is long, mouth-filling and savoury, finishing with a crunch of Fuji apples.
