Estate GrownHand picked delicious ripe fruit from the (dryland) Dead Mans Hill vineyard, 500 metres above sea level. Pressed to tank and racked away from the heavy solids, cool fermented to dryness with selected yeasts for 23 days, and left on fine lees for 2 months before bottling in June.
A delightful aromatic wine with archetypal lychee and tea-rose aromas of the variety, the palate flavours of ginger spice, lychee, quince and orange zest are backed by gentle acidity, great length and texture. Drink til 2026.
